When exporting a drawing file to DXF and reopening it with proE, the hidden line become a solid.
what should I do while exporting in order that these hidden lines become discontinuous?

Can you confirm what the dxf looks like in another 2D cad package e.g. AutoCAD LT, etc?


We had this issue before, and the file didn't appear correct in Pro/E, but did in others. It seemed to be the line scale handling on the import to Pro/E had to be changed to get the "look" right.


In the end, we supplied dwg versions from Pro/E into our AutoCAD LT package, and if dxf was absolutely required we created it there.

I mean to reopen the dxf exported with proengineer.
For exportation, I have the dxf_export.pro
