drawing view config in WF 2

miked

New member
I have tried the old "model_display_for_new_views" option to my config file but it isnt recognised in WF2. I am pretty sure it worked in WF1.

Is there any other way to change my default view display in drawing mode?

Thanks,

miked

No the one Iam looking for has the options that are in view properties under view display like no hidden, hidden or default.

I found it in a WF1 config guide but it doesnt seem to work in WF2.

Thanks,

miked

It is in the drawing .dtl files now.

model_display_for_new_views NO_HIDDEN
tan_edge_display_for_new_views no_disp_tan

Thanks dr_gallup, I found it under file>properties>drawing
options. I wonder why you cant control all of the that with the config
file? Wouldnt everyone use config.pro regardless of which module they
are using?

It is drawing specific & most companies setup a number of standard .dtl files (I use 4 frequently but have about 12) so I guess PTC figured it made more sense to put it with the other drawing settings.
