Drawing Directory seperate from Part

I'm trying to un-clutter. I would like to have a directory for just my drawing files. The problem is, when I have a drawing alone in this directory, it tries to reference it's prt. file in the same directory. I'd like to segregate them.



Can this be done?

This can be done if you add the directory where parts are into 'Search Path'.



PreE will look for the part in 1st in Session, 2nd Working directory, 3rd Search Path and it will grab the first one along the way.



I'm assuming you are not using PDM or IntraLink. I can't imagine my life without Intralink.
