drawing check in

When I check in an assembly or part to Intralink, the associated drawing does not automatically check in. I must manually check in the drawing. Is there an Intralink setting that will check in the drawing as I check in the model?

Yes, I am aware that when you check in a drawing it will check in the associated model. What I am asking is.... Is there a setting that would automatically check in all the part and assembly drawings if I check in the "top level" assembly.

I am not aware of any setting to automatically check in part and assembly drawings from the top level assembly.

You would have to write an intralink script to select parts, assemblies and drawings from the top level assy. Then you could check in all the selected objects.

Why would you want to check in files that are not modified? If you modify an assembly and you have an associated drawing, you would have to save the drawing which would mark it "MODIFIED". Both files would then be marked as "MODIFIED" in your workspace. Simply select them and check them in.

No setting is necessary. All associated parts get checked in when you check in a modified assembly.

I'll stop now before my brain explodes....

Haven't used intralink for a while. I'm struggeling with Windchill

But I seem to remember a drop-downbox on the upper left side where one could choose from all/required/include drawings, early in the check in procedure.Or am I wrong?

That would be automatic enough for me.
