Drawing border size change-ability

Without creating a simplified rep, is there a way to adjust
the limits of the dashed box that shows up around a drawing
view? I've added a view, blanked out the components that I
didn't want to see and increased the scale of the
view...the result is the view of part of an assembly but a
huge preselect drawing box that pops up.

Make it a partial view & draw an outline around the remaining components.

I like that answer and it does work for the
application/problem that I had, the same issue remains in a
situation where exploded components are blanked out leaving
a large viewing box. Any other suggestions?
