Drafting-placing text from Ms word to UG

Hi Chap's


right now am using UG NX4 latest version software on my PC


yesterday i found a small problem in NX4


i have some word doc data which is to becopied in from Ms word to NX4 annotation editor


when am trying to past the MS word data i can do it,I means i can past the data in annotation editor in NX4 but is not visible


again i tried to copy the same data in MS EXCEL and i past the data in annotation editor in NX4 but is visible in NX4 drafting mode


and now am able to do and the same data is visible


Can anyone expalin me why it is so when i tried to copy data from MS word NX4 it is not allowing me to do and the same data wheni copied from ms excel it is lowing..

My guess is that Word data is not clean. it has Word formatting commands embedded into the text. Try using Wordpad or Notepad for your text.
