Distinguish WF2.0

How can I distinguish whether the Wildfire version I have is 2.0 or 1.0?

I just bought a 3.0 WF copy. However, I want to run WF2.0 for a few months. PTC says I can run 2.0 just fine with the 3.0 license. A coworker let me have hisCD's so that I can install 2.0. How can I make sure it's 2.0, not 1.0? If I go to "about Pro/Engineer" of the help menu, it says "wildfire", not "wildfire 2.0." It seems to run okay with the license I have. I'd rather not run WF 1.0.

The build number I have is M150 which available on both 1.0 and 2.0.

Another questions is would it be worth running WF2.0 and intentionally lag behind or should I go straight to WF3.0?

Thanks.

Look for the UNDO / REDO buttons... they only came along with WF2... also, try to pattern a feature, and see if you get a drop-down with "Direction" + "Axis" - another couple of newish options.

Hey nuspam,

You can always set the ui_theme option in the config.pro for Wildfire 2.0 to:

ui_theme=standard

This is the default for Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 so the UI looks like your current Windows theme. There is no such option in Wildfire 1.0 so the theme is going to be the new "Wildfire" theme.

Hmm, thats wierd in my "About Pro/Engineer" dialog it DOES say Wildfire 2.0. In fact, it says "Pro/ENGINEER Wildifre 2.0" in the title bar for the Pro/E application. I don't know if that has to do with anything with the license used (WF 3.0 with WF 2.0, I didn't even know that was possible!), but that is wierd.

In any case, the themes SHOULD be different between Wildfire 1.0 and Wildfire 2.0. That's how I used to tell the difference when we were making the transition from 1.0 to 2.0.

Hope this helps.
