Dimensions in the same line without using

I want two dimensions in the drawing to be aligned on the same line. And i am having this problem in Wildfire. In 2001 just by clicking the other dimension using the shift button that was possible. Butit is not happening in Wildfire. Does anybody know how to do that?

Select as many dim. as you would like by picking the first, then use the ctrl button, once all are selected, click and hold right mouse button to get drop don menu, pick align dim.
