Dimension Line Spacing

We are in the process of changing our dimension styles and would like to change the default line spacing from .500 to .800. I created a new text stylethat has the correct values in it, The problem is that it only applies to notes that I put on the drawing not dimensions. I have looked through the detail.dtl and config.pro but there is no setting that controls the line spacing for dimension's. So in a nut shell I would like to be able to show/create dimensions with a .800 line spacing without having to modify the parameters of every dimension on a drawing. Any help would be appreciated.

Jimsgolfin,

Use the clean dimensions feature. I am using 2001. Choose Tools>Clean Dims. Pick the view and change the dimension spacing from .500 to .800.

Hope this helps.
