Deleted mapkeys still visible in menu?!

Here's another issue I'm trying to resolve that perhaps one of you cad administrators or pro-e gurus can help me with:

My boss wanted to get rid of a lot of mapkeys from our global config.pro that nobody uses. Rather than comment them out, he wanted me to completely delete them from the file, which I did. I don't know if completely removing the mapkey coding causes an issue or not. Well, now when I call up a session of Wildfire 2.0, I see a menu pick for 3 deleted mapkeys in the "VIEW" dropdown menu: one that creates primary views off of a front view, one that turns on shaded surface and one that turns off shaded surface. The 3 mapkey choices areinclosed inbrackets and when I try to pickany of themI get the following message at the bottom of my Pro-E screen: "Mapkey "mapkey name" is currently not defined in this session." I deleted around 20 different mapkeys from the config.pro, including the ones I mentioned previouslyand for whatever reason, I see these 3 particular mapkeys showing up in my view dropdown menu. Anybody know why they're showing up? And how the heck I can get rid of them? They're completely deleted from the config.pro! What gives? Thanks in advance for any input on this matter.I need a beer.............

I'm pretty sure you have to modify the config.win file
which, at least in 2001, is located under Utilities, Customize Screen...

Go to the Commands tab and focus on the Categories section
where there should be a listing for Mapkeys.

Simply removing them from the config.pro will not change
anything in your drop down menus.

Thanks for the reply Hacks. I tried doing what you mentioned. I went to Utilities, Customize Screen. I then went to the Commands Tab and picked "Mapkeys" from the list. The phantom mapkeys that keep appearing in the View dropdown menu are not listed. Which makes sense since they've been deleted from our config.pro. I'm wondering if the order I did things is causing this problem. Perhaps I should have removed the mapkeys from the config.win and then deleted them from our config.pro. I don't know. Irregardless, I need to fix this. Any other ideas?

While in the Customize Screen dialog, simply open the menus where the mapkeys are (ie. View menu for those described) and drag them out of the menu and they should be deleted. If you have any buttons on toolbars do the same thing with the buttons (drag off toolbar). Good luck.
