When you create a particular interface, such as aligning the axis of a cylindrical component with the axis of a hole in an assembly and mating the bottom surface of the cylinder with the bottom surface of the hole, it can apply to any hole/axis in the assembly. What the Assembly Conditions can do is specify a specific name of an axis existing in the assembly to which to align the cylinder's axis (Type: Name), a particular part in that contains the axis to which the cylinder's axis will be aligned exists (Type: Belongs to), or both.
