Dear Friends,

I am Venkata Ramu.In our company there are 5 types of plotters are available. But for ProE drawings we are using only one plotter. How to set that plotter as a default plotter. Please help me regarding this.

I don't know whether you can set it through ProE, but if you set it as the default Windows printer, it should be set as the default for ProE.

Venkat i dont think u cant set a default printer for
your Pro E Application alone. Normally all windows based programs
chooses the system default printer as its default one. So choose the
plotter u use for Pro E as deafult. This will solve your problem.

Actually you can set up one of your plotters as one for pro-e to use from many available. Also, your default printer/plotter does not have to be the one pro-e uses

. I use *.pcf files to define plotter and page configuration for each print format plotter command, then place it in the formats file where I told pro-e to look for them. Here is an example of the "Ansi B size" I named Bplot.pcf:

plotter

print

MRPLOT\HP DesignJet 450C () by HP
plot

Hope this helps.

Good luck
