Datum Targets

Does anyone else have problems utilizing the datum target functionallity in 2001?



All my knowledge using this function has been self taught because there is no how to's and everytime I use it I find it frustrating at best. I have poured over the technical pages on the PTC website with very little or no information. It is all very generic.



I ranting here I know, but does anyone have a source of instruction for using datum targets?

No I don't have any problem with those.

They (the datum targets ) are crap. Especially in drawing mode.

When y ou set the d target it goes whack and you have to show/erase in another view or it pops up somehwere else.

Of course you can cheat and use a symbol, but...
