Hello


How do I transfer Proe Old version file into New Version?


I would appreciate if someone informs me ASAP.

Pro/E can open older version files by default. Just set your working directory to the location of the older files and then opem the files.

Make a note of the older version number of ur part


close the part if it is in session with a later version and do Erase not displayed


This will takeoff the latest version of ur part from session .


Now go to File > Open


In the Top Right Corner of the window u will find a arrow pointing downwards


if u press it .u will get a pull down menu in which u can see an option "show all versions"


depress it and all the versions of ur part will be listed


choose the version u want and open it


Then save it again ........Now tht will become ur New version
