cutcom with area profile

Hi All,

My machine is a verticle mill/lathe I'm in turn mode. I'm creating an area profile for roughing. I'm sketching my tool path for the tool to cut the path I must reverse the direction. This in turn generates a cutcom/right instead of a cut com/left. I have redefined the sketch no matter what, it initally wants to cut from the outside in to the center. The tool is postitoned on the inside of the part. Does anyone know how I could create the tool path and get a cutcom/left. I've changed the spindle from CW to CCW no help. Will post some pic's tommorw

If you have sketched the tool path, redefine the "follow sketch", then redefine the "sketch". Pick on the endpoint that you want the tool to start at, then right-click. Select the option "start point". This should reverse your tool path. If you created an area profile, redefine it and change the "material side".

I did create an turn_profile. I tried changing the material side. no good It went to the bottom inside and started cutting.

I'm working with modifying the of the following cut better results but still not there toll is coming down to the surface and then working abck up. so what am I not doing?View attachment 2386View attachment 2387
