does anyone know if you sketch a curve using equations, whether you can use the terms squared and cubed, and if so how are they written?

i want to write .... cubed just after cos and sin

x=3cos (cubed) (t)

y=3sin (cubed) (t)

many thaanks

make a datum curve. there is an option where you can do it by equation. i'm not sure how the multiple terms work. worse comes to worse, if it is just squared, just mulitply them by themselves. there probably is a way though. i've never had to do it myself. hope this helps.

I believe you can write:

x=cos^3(t) and if not there's always

x=cos(t)*cos(t)*cos(t)
