Concurrent engineering tools in Pro/Intra

PTC advertises Pro/Intralink as a tool for concurrent engineering. Can anyone explain me which tool in Pro/Intralink is strictly connected with concurrent engineering. In my opinion, release procedures and statuses (Commonspace, Workspace and Compare) supports concurrent engineering. Are there any more examples? Can anyone show me an example of such a tool?
