COLOR OF PART (REPOST)

Hello people
I AM REPOSTING THIS TOPIC AS TILL NOW I HAVE NOT GOT ANY RESPONSE. AND STILL I AM BURRIED UNDER SAND.

Every time I make a new part its color is YELLOW. Where as, by default it should be GREY. Can any one/all guide me how to get the default color of a part?

You have to change the basic color of your solid part template.


And each time you make a new part, choose the solid parttemplate.


you can also make different templates is different colors.

in config.pro file change your


system_geometry_color into 0 0 0 values

Miguel: as i mentioned i have already changed the color to default in my start part. (i hope u want to say start part when yo say solid templet)


gondi: your solution did not work. i am getting same yello color in part. but after adding "system_geometry_color" to my .pro i got black edges in drawing. (not good buddy)

Hey,


For me it's works just fine,


I have 20 template with 12 materials (ALUMINIUM, PLASTICS, ...) and with different colors.


And every time i start a new part I choose a solid template for the right application.

such a foolishness of me.


i was changeing color in some different directory and config.pro have path of different start part directory. that's the reason i has in deep sh*t for so many days,.
