Hi all here is a question for the scripting experts is there a script to strip the version number from a file created in pro e and if there is a script can a map key be assigned to it.
Here is the problem i want to save a Bill of Materials table as a csv file so i can edit it in excel the problem i have is that when i save this file, for instance i will name the file bom pro e also saves the version number as well,example i save the the table as bom and specify a csv fileand in the folder that i save the file to the fileis saved as bom.csv.1 is there a script that can strip the version number from the file name to leave me with bom.csv.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
