Catia v4 to ProE WF3 or Catia v4 to Catia

We are trying to import a number of products from Catia v4 to ProE and the result in the classic rounds etc with a lot of small lines/edges (due to Bezier based).<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
We are importing the native Catia models through the Int_for_Cat module.
How about importing native Catia v5 models?
Is the result better, C v5 Nurbs based?
Would it help me if we could go from Catia v4 to Catia v5 and then to ProE WF3?
