<DIV>We do not have such a document, as there really isn't any standard, for each company has varying needs. For many companies, the duties are split amongst mutiple people, and frequently change over time. Some are pure CAD, while others take care of infrastructure as well. Some CAD admins are end users, and manage in their "spare" time.</DIV>

<DIV>Generally, the CAD administrator's function is to define and maintain an environment that allows users to get the maximum benefit of the software at the minimum cost.</DIV>

Yes, it varies from company to company, site to site. But it should include:

1. Install and update software.

2. Help manage policies and procedures including standard configs and templates.

3. Help run User Meetings.

4. Be the expert-level resource on design, analysis, and manufacturing.

5. Plan, implement, and manage configuration data management.

6. Run in-house training.
