BOM... from the basics

i want to associate cost of a assembly in the bom table including a total.. and even sub totals. parameter called cost in all parts.



how do i get my assembly to see the parameters of the assembly components. must it be inherited?



is there a good beginners guide to this?



i noticed u can save a table file of a bom table .. and then load it up on any assembly drawing. anyone have any they wish to share?





ive dont a search for bom table stuff, but after reading about 50 posts it seems no one has it all explained..

The best explaination of Repeat Regions I've seen is in the online help. It includes sections on adding totals and subtotals.
