BOM customisation

Hello !


I am doing some mold design work in which the mold base components consists of Rectangular plates like Top Plate . After I assemble them and create the assembly drawing I need to get these plate sizes in the Bill of Materials. Is it possible. Like say ---> Length Breadth width


Top Plate 250 100 30.


Hope someone can help.

Hi Sudhish,


You need to add parameters to your start part eg;


Material:
Length:
Width:
Thickness:

You then need to create a table on your drawing sheet (format) that has matching
syntax in these columns eg;

&material
&length
&width
&thickness


Or aternatively you can set up your drawing sheet similar to mine eg;


Material: - 10mm Alloy Steel (material description includes plate thickness)
Grade: - 4140
O/A Dims: - 250 x 150
