bmp image in drawing doesn’t stay

I have been inserting a bmp image of our company logo into drawings I create in SolidWorks, using Insert > Picture. I save the drawing and everything is fine, however the next time I open the drawing, the image is gone and I have to re-insert it. For some reason the bmp image it doesn't seem to stick. Is there a reason for this?

Right click on drawing template - "Edit sheet format" and then Insert .bmp file with "lock aspect ratio" is ON. Again right click on sheet - "Edit Sheet" & save the drawing. It works.

every time i've been inserting a bmp the "lock aspect ratio" box is checked... the picture still disappears next time i open the document
