How can I assemble a model from different working directory, without searching for this model each time I open my assembly?

In different terms: can I make a kind of hyperlink to other folders so I can build my library for my common parts.

Set up a search path in your config.pro to the appropriate directory.

Full option:

search_path c:\library d:\pro_e_work ...



Pro/E will search your current working directory first, then, use the search path to find files it needs.

I've got a script which makes a list of each part of your directory and then when you assemble your part in an assembly, Pro/E know in which directory the part is. It's better then search path when you have a lot of parts and assembly and work in network.
