Alternative to Graphics Server?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum but thought I'd give it a try...

I am a designer in a mid-size company that's currently running Wildfire 2.0, Intralink 3.3 and Division Graphics Server.

The Graphics Server is what we're having an issue with (specifically, the inability to view legacy versions of a drawing once a new version has been approved) and I'm wondering what other companies are using as a browser-based viewer.

We're looking into some alternatives (pdf, e-drawings, design data manager) and I know there are several others out there. What do you all use?

We use graphis server. We are considering to change to PdmLink.

It is possible to config Graphic server to keep all revisions of objects.

It is also possible to setup Graphic server to use browser based viewer.

What version of Graphic Server do you use.

Graphic server is a great solution but it can be difficult to configure.

We usever. 7.0.50.6 Datecode M050 of Product View, not sure if that's the same as the Graphics Server version.

We currently have it configured to work through a web browser, and we would like any replacement to be able to as well. As far as revisions, we would like to be able to view all revisions as well as all versions of that revision that are in.

You can do that with Graphic Server today. It is a change in some settings. Nu need forchanging to another system?

If you need different access rigths to different foldere or release levels then this also is possible.

Here from Ptc knowledgabase. You just have to change it to false

By default, the Engineering Data Respository (EDR) stores multiple versions of a published part. In some cases it is desirable for
only the latest version of a published part to exist in the EDR. The resolution section below describes how to setup the Pro/INTRALINK object adapter to remove older versions of a published part when a newer version is published.

Alternate Technique
-----------------

See resolution below

Resolution
-----------------

Edit the agent.ini file for the Pro/INTRALINK object adapter located at:
<GraphicsServer-loadpoint>\ObjectAdapters\ProIntralink \agent.ini

Change:
storeoneversiononly=true

Stop and restart the Pro/INTRALINK object adapter from the Graphics Server admin web page.
