ALTERING ITEM # IN BOM ON DWG

I have a bom on my dwg for an assy and I want to alter the item numbers,


How do you do that without "explding the BOM" and making it NOT parametric?


another situation is I have a reference part in the assembly and I do not want to assign a item number to it because it is for reference only


any solutions?

Try this:


Table / Repeat Region / TBL REGIONS / Fix Index. Choose the record to which you want to assign the index and enter it. (I copied this from the Pro/E help system.)


You may be able to enter a dash "-" character to your reference items.
