punch on edges

Hi all,


How to create punch on edge as shown in fig.


I did try Insert - shape- punch/die. But, not able to do it . I getting errors like" Feature could not be inserted" or "invalid base plane".

Try unbending the bend, make your feature, then use bend back.

Are you creating a edge dart or gusset or are you looking to create a notch?
