3D DIMENSIONS

Yes - you can use the drawing standard file option:

allow_3d_dimensions YES

& show 3D dims on the drawing.

i've tried that drawing setup option, and have never been able to get it to look quite as nice as the sample originally posted.

any tricks?

I have to agree with Fred. Pro/E seems to have thrown in isometric detailing as an after thought. It's totally lacking in inserted dimensions so if the dimensions you want to use for illustration aren't the driving dimensions you're SOL.

In the past, I've used (in 2001) Modify>Dimensions, and then picked on the model, which features I wanted to be shown, then hit the Print Screen button and exported it as a JPEG.
