I am currently working on an assembly (project 1) that includes a circuit board from a different project (project 2).
The board is composed of several components which each consist of several sub-components, and all are located in the folder for project 2.
Our search.pro file is about a thousand lines long, so loading the assembly for project 1 takes about 15 minutes as it has to run through the list for each component and sub component.
My question is this: is there some function or operation I can place in the assembly for project 1 that tells creo to load the entire folder for project 2 (or even just a specific assembly) into session before it starts looking for the specific parts one at a time, as it will see them in session first and load them much faster I expect.
if not, is there some other way to speed up this loading time?
Thanks,
Mike
