After upgrading from a very frustrating NX5 (Grip bugs). I have now discoverd that
there is some options missing in the transformation menu???? I cant seem to transform with point to point or delta methods... Is there a settings fix or is this another bug??
nx6
NX7** TO GET THE OLD TRANSFORM OPTIONS BACK LIKE NX5
GO TO SYSTEM PROPERIES,ADVANCED, environment variable,NEW
VARIABLE NAME*** UGII_ENABLE_TRANSFORM_LEGACY_OPTIONS
VARIABLE VALUE** 1
HIT OK
THEN RESTART NX7
The environment variable UGII_ENABLE_TRANSFORM_LEGACY_OPTIONS=1
so when you use Ctrl + T you will get the old transform -> Translate.
I run NX6 and there is an icon for the old 'Transform' command.
It's on the "Standard" toolbar. You have to customize the display buttons on the toolbar in order to see it. The Icon looks like a box at 45 degrees and it has << and >> on either side of it. That's the only place we've been able to find the old option of "Transform".
I just started using NX6and found the http://www.nxtutorials.com
website to have many interesting articles, tutorials, and models. I
hope you find it helpful also!
