What does CSYS stand for?

Ok, I thought maybe it meant custom coordinate system.

The CSYS comes with datums and planes attached to it right? So is it also called the Datum CSYS?

Thanks

Read the UG help manual on the variuos ones.

There is an Absolute Coordinate System (ABS) which is fixed and cannot be moved.

There is a Work Coordinate System (WCS) which is where all of your data will be condtructed from. UG/NX always draws 2D geometry on the XY plane of the WCS.

There is a Feature Coordinate System (FCS) that is defined for the feature being created.

There is a Manufacturing Coordinate System (MCS) used for generating tool paths.

There is a Reference Coordinate System (RCS) used in the manufacturing module for transposing tool paths.

Hi.

I don't understand the difference between WCS and CSYS yet.
How many WCS can I have in an assembly?
One for each part, or just one in total?
