Workspace Views - where saved to?

I'm trying to find where things that I knew in Intralink 3.x are in Windchill 9.x like:


When you create a custom workspace view, where does it save the definition? In Intralink it would put it in an Ilink folder where the workspace was also stored in a text file and you could copy and share it. Where does Windchill write this to when you save a custom workspace view? I would like to copy, edit and share it outside of windchill.

Look in your PTC_WM_CACHE folder. There is a .settings sub-folder that has your customizations.

I'm interested in this too, and I searched my whole HD for that folder but did not find it. Where is it supposed to be located? Thanks.

It is under your start in folder defined in the icon/menu item you start Pro/E from.
