Constant Load Stepover Transition.

Does anyone know how to alter the stepover transition in CONSTANT_LOAD? The toolpaths ProNC generates are very smooth except when it steps over. It's not bad when we're cutting aluminum, but in tool steel, it does a real number on the cutter.

It depends on the sequence type. It looks like you have a roughing routine showing. I would look in the cutting parameters for stepovers. I don't have time right now to get the details for you but that is where to start looking.

I dont think you can adjust the transition. However you can change your stepover value to around 10% of the cutter diam and then triple your chipload and surface feet. I do this for most hardmilling (54RC)operations works really well
