3D Model in Drawing relese for production

Do you mean an isometric or other non-orthogonal view? By definition all drawing views are 2D no matter what the orientation. Or are you talking about giving the supplier a 3D model in addition to a drawing?
 
I want to say 3D model is not required for Production drawing...We can give that for only reference...the filesmust be in IGES or Step format...SO no need to give the 3D model It would be useful for only reference...
