Partial crosssection / cutout

Hi,


I would like to make an cut out in a drawing of an assembly. I made a offset x section in the assembly.


If I want to activate the cross section in the assembly it is grayed out. If I select visibility I see the cut out.





And I can not select the crosssection in my drawing. Could somebody help? I do not want to use a assembly cut feature.

Try to extend sketch of crossection to all size of assembly or even more.
