making hole in the flange- coaxial

Hi

How to make the hole co-axially along the datum axis - a_6 in the attached file. I am facing problem in specifying the secondary references and i am unable to make it successfully. I am intending to make the oil hole.

Can any one help in this regard??

... make sure you have an axis and axis disply on.Pre select that axis and evoke the hole tool. Then use your contrl option to add the surface face the hole will be placed on. And your done.


After downloading your file I notice you want coaxial not centered to an axis.

For placing the hole along the axis that is angled like that you need to place a pnt on the axis (or two) with a dtm thru the pnt normal to two other dtm planes.use that dtm as your second reference and your fine.
