Create air volume

Ok, sorry. I have a complex model and I want to have a volume around my model. This volume needs to fill every hole of my model, as a skin. I will use this volume as air for CFD simulation programs. I tried to generate it with the "Sustract" function, but I coulnd

You might try to use a Shrink Wrap feature. That functionality is only available in the Pro/E Advanced Assembly module however.

Create the air volume as a solid block in an assy,
position the part wrt the block and subtract the part
out of the block.

I tried Shrink Wrap, but I get only a skin of my model.

I tried substraction too, but I get this error "Impossible to combine a component packaging. Re-select."

You can create a single quilt that contains all of the surfaces of the model.

1. Select any surface and hit Ctrl C to copy the surface.
2. Hit Ctrl V to past the surface.
3. In the bottom right hand corner click "References".
4. In the box delete the individual surface.
5. In the model tree click the part name at the very top.
6. You should now see in the "Copy Reference" box a line that says "All Solid Surfaces".
7. Click the check box and you should now have a single quilt that is all of the surfaces of your model.

You can then copy the quilt into another model to create your volume.
