Cylindrical mapping

Hi All

I have modelled up a simple extruded bit of plywood. I have applied a texture and bump map to the top and bottom surface, but am having difficulty positioning the texture and bump map on the edge detail.

I have scanned in a image of plywood edging and tried planar mapping, but this result in the lamination stripes not following the contour of the ply.

I have also tried Cylindrical mapping, using a COORDS, but the map always seems to 'bend' in the opposite way I want it to.

Any ideas?

I am using Pro-e 2001

Cheers
