A surface

Hi to all,


Does any one knows about A surfaces? I have one doubt how to generate curvature continuity or 2-order/G2 continuity curves. What actually curvature means. Does it have any formula.


What is G3 curves or 3-order continuity.
It would be nice if anyone can explain in detail.

Thanks for reply. I know that forum. But still few things were missing in that forum. I want the mathematical representation/equation actually. It will help me to understand the concept so that I can make those kind of curves. To understand it better I want that.


I know little bit but still found myself not fully confident building G3 Curves perfectly. So if someone can help me out that will be great.


All experts help me.....As I have got some exterior part designs of automotive body.Some are plastic ones some are press parts.
