external editors with notepad

i am in the job of cutomizing pro/e.


i want to drive the model from any external editor like notepad.


i have got some resources.but nothing is complete.


can anyone suggest me good links for effective customization process?

You Q's is not clear. Let me know why do you want to work form Notepad or any other text editor to run Pro-Engineer, Are you customizing the behaviour of the PRo-Engineer to run or u need to customize the features in pro-E.


Plz elobrate your Q's so that people can give some...help on customization.


Customization has very broad sese you need to use it very precise what it is intended for.
