Hi,

I have an Iges file consistig of some sweep profiles, and what I'm looking to do is to somehow digitise points on the profile and export the results to an excel sheet..

Can anybody point me in the right direction for this??

Thanks,

James

hmm

u could prolly patter some points along a edge of ur sweep

the get pro-e to tell u the relative dimensions of the points to the start or to eachother

u could then put that in a table in a drawing file and export that :)

possibly :p

why would u want to do that?

one of the guys in the office is doing some CFD analysis on a paraglide
shoot and he needs them for some calculation prelim calculations..

how can I put the relative dims in a table?
