Instance along a curve

Hello all,


Using NX4. Is there a option where i can instance a feature along a curve? For example in the attached dwg i have a oblong hole which i want to instance both in X and Y direction. In Y direction i need the instance to follow the border of my component and X direction its a constant. Anybody suggest the best way of doing it.


If not feature, can iinstance the curves/sketch atleast?

No, The options to instance geometry along a curve is not available in NX4 only NX5. You could place points along the curve and transform from point to point. Crude approach
