Company hole standards

I have added our company standard holes by editing the "nx502_Threaded_Hole_Standard.xml" file.


It seems to work OK. I can select our standard company holes from the hole dialog box.


My question is whether this is the proper way to do this. Does anyone have an alternate method.

Well, you don't mention what version of NX you are using but in the later versions you can edit the customer defaults to define what numbers pop up whenever you insert a hole. This is only good for a single starting point though.
