texture libraries

i need to use customer defined textures which are in .jpeg format on the models which i create or inother ways i need to wrap the models by the customer specified textures which are in .jpeg format can any one help me out

Applying .tif image is limited by its square form .....because i want to add logo & some words on a surface

How to do it with .tif image ??
