parametric points

Hai all,

I am new to UG(Nx2), recently shifted from ProE. Am finding some
problem on Modeling. In sketcher mode, I need to use the end point of
an existing curve to constrain the sketch. The sketcher plane is normal
to this curve at its end point. But am not able to take the endpoint of
this curve as referance. So i created a point at the endpoint and used
it. But later i found that the point is not parametric. When i changed
this curve the point didnt move. I consulted someone who's experianced,
But he told that it is not possible to make parametric points in UG. Is
there some way to make parametric points in UG?

Thanx in advance

hi rakesh,

while u are in sketch create "Associative point" (not "point") by selecting end point of the curve, this associative point can be usedas reference. Note that an Associative Point does not need any constraints because it is associative to externalgeometry.
