Hi,


Can any one tell me, how to save the model seperately as a part file which iscreated in assy environment.

All you need to do is hit icon "insert new component" from assembly toolbar and then when selection window appear select the body which you want to save in the seperate part file, accept, give it the name and all parametric structure related to the model will be taken with to the new file.

Hi,


Sorry for late reply, I tried, but its not worked out,there is only "insert existing component" icon in assy tool bar,can you tell me where is "insert new component" icon. i am using UGNX2, hope you help me.

In NX2 you can select Assemblies _ Components- create New





Then pick the solid to be placed into its own file. You can customize the assemblies tool bar and add the icon
