Does anyone have any idea on how to create part families in UG NX2? I get to the part where I'm filling in the spreadsheet to populate the part catalogue but then when I close the spreadsheet nothing happens.
I use V18 but it should be about the same method, I think.
Are you saving the family after you create and fill in the cells? There should be a PartFamily pull down menu across the top of the Excel worksheet. You first need to verify the newly created parts and then save them BEFORE you exit. After you have done this you can do a File > Clos and return to Part Family. It's been a while for me but I remember it wasn't difficult.
