Hi


Does anyone know how to creat a dimension (in NX3 Drafting mode), between a solid entity (edge face etc) to a datum plane?

I don't think you can do a drafting dimension to a datum plane. Unless UGS has changed it in the last couple of releases.

Hi
Try reference set/ entire part in this case all of datum plane will appear on screen use dimension to do it.

If i ever have to do that i create a line in the MODEL and make it visibile in View and use that to dimension too.

Hai,
You can select some layer for Datums and u can make that datums visible in drafting by visible in view option and you can try to keep dimension...
