three point bending simulation sw2010

using solidworks, im looking to simualte a simple three point bending test on aluminium box section. From doing this simulation i want to demonstrate the impact resitance of the box section. Would solidworks be able to achieve such a simulation acuratley and could solidworks plot a momemnt deformation graph of the simulation? The typical graph i need plotted is ilustrated below.

You can simulate this test using FEA with no problem, as long as you don't overconstrain it. Getting it accurate is going to depend on your skill level and your patience,

.What is your experience level with FEA tools in general?


As far as creating the graph, I do not think SW can automaticaly generate this, but you could create it manually by running a bunch of load cases. Exactly what moment and angle are you trying to graph?
